According to scientists, we have between 50,000 – 70,000 thoughts a day. Who would’ve thought? With our advanced technology and random (sometimes questionable) information at our fingertips, there is never a lack of resources to generate those thoughts, imaginations, and opinions.

Throughout history, we’ve had some popular examples of great writers that shared their inner thoughts with us. William Shakespeare, Stephen King, Ernest Hemingway and a new popular yet sometimes “shaded with grey” author known best as E.L James are just to name a few.

Through reading the works of these authors we not only gain knowledge but can imagine beyond what we know to places we’ve never been, things we’ve imagined and gotten insight into the lives of the writers by reading their perspective.

For example, not only was Shakespeare an English poet who wrote more than thirty plays and over one hundred sonnets he is the second most quoted author in the English language. (First being the Holy Bible).  Stephen King (one of my favorite authors) wrote himself into some the greatest horror movies ever released. Ernest Hemingway was an American novelist and short story writer who chose to leave his mansion in Key West to his polydactyl cats!

Those are just to name a few of some great writers of our century that allowed us into their window of thoughts.  And then came blogs. Blogging allows us to express our thoughts on a multitude of subjects by writing (typing) at any given time to a network of people we selectively choose or who may choose us.

We can blog about our favorite subjects, places, hobbies or of people we find interesting. With the multitude of random thoughts, a day comes the question, Where to put them? While Shakespeare didn’t pen a “blog” in his time, he would have surely convinced thee to followeth his not so digital writings.

This shall be one of those blogs to come of those 50,000-70,000 random thoughts a day from our journey to find many new adventures in life.
